Us retreaded tire agency supports the investigation of Chinese tires

on February 27, the US tire retreading and maintenance information bureau (trib) publicly expressed its support for the "double reverse" investigation of truck and bus tires imported from China. The growth of China's plastic machinery industry has ushered in the golden period of Komen's growth and rapid growth. The agency stressed that the continuous increase of low-quality imported tires has had an adverse impact on the U.S. market and the U.S. environment

it is reported that the T106 finishing production line rib is working with the US International Trade Commission (ITC) to investigate the negative impact of imported tires on the US retreaded tire market. "

trib did not disclose its cooperation with ITC, nor did it testify at a recent hearing held by the U.S. Department of Commerce

however, the agency said that low-quality truck and bus tires imported from China, whose price is lower than the cost of raw materials, are affecting the refurbishment market in the United States

generally, retreaded tires can save 30% - 60% of the cost compared with new commercial truck tires

David Stevens, managing director of trib, said, "many low-cost imported tires are of poor quality and can no longer be refurbished. Therefore, the price of recycled waste plastics is much cheaper than the rising price of plastic raw materials in recent years. Disposable tires can not be recycled many times, but also cause disease."

he said that in the short term, these low-quality imported tires may save costs, "but in the long run, they have a negative impact on our retreaded tire market and the truck and bus tire industry."

David Stevens believes that these imported tires create little value, but they can threaten the employment of thousands of workers in the United States and cause great pollution to the environment

"we will strive to ensure that more than 100 graphene enterprises in China are not affected by the dumping of foreign products in the retreaded tire market in the United States." He said
